Groomed by a family of licensed cosmetologists and barbers,I am A true artist of many trades! Since a child I’ve had “a hand” in the game ,although the eye of perfection came many years later! My first job was sweeping at my grandmas shop, age 5, where my father now currently upholds the business! They called her  “Brown Sugar”,super sweet with a hint of spice! She always said “Girl you’re gonna be just like ya grandma”! When i began shampooing for Brown Sugar i earned my beauty shop name, “Sugar Brown”! I guess my hands were as sweet as hers! Along the way she taught me everything she knew from ,artistry to business! With years of watching the greats, I now happily service both men/women and children. Leading me to The Kreative Kay!!

Meanwhile ,being a full time mother of two handsome young boys, the grind doesn’t stop!
